Compare our Premium window series.

Timeless, Elegance, Serene, and Zenith are built around different priorities in frame style, glass, comfort, and appearance.

Compare window options
Timeless

More glass, narrower frames.

Premium positions Timeless around narrow vinyl frames, larger views, and strong value. Lomax uses it as the practical starting series.

Elegance

Classic proportions.

Elegance has a slightly larger frame than Timeless, with even sightlines for a consistent frame appearance. It is a dual-pane option.

Serene

Triple-pane comfort.

Serene uses the same frame as Elegance with triple-pane glass for greater energy efficiency. Keep the frame style you like while upgrading the glass.

Zenith

Black inside and out.

Performance-vinyl frames give Zenith its bold black interior/exterior look, with the glass package selected for the project.

Window and door projects typically take about 2–3 weeks.

That is the usual timeline from signed contract to completed installation, including sliding doors, French doors, black-frame doors, and doors with built-in dog doors.

Plan the project
  1. Consult

Review the openings, priorities, product options, and project scope. Lomax can bring sample windows to your home.

  2. Measure + price

Lomax measures the home and typically prepares pricing within 24 hours, often sooner.

  3. Order

Final measurements and product selections are confirmed before the order is placed.

  4. Install

Lomax employees remove the old units and install, seal, adjust, and test the replacements. An 8–12 window job typically takes about a day and a half.

  5. Clean + review

The work area is cleaned and the finished windows or doors are checked with you.

What is normally included in the installation price?

Removal and disposal of the old windows or doors, screens, trim, sealing and weatherproofing, installation, adjustment, and cleanup are normally included in the Lomax scope.

How are stucco, drywall, and unexpected repairs handled?

Stucco and drywall finish work are outside the normal installation scope. If repairs are needed, Lomax discusses the cost with you, brings in a stucco contractor for stucco work, and can usually handle drywall repairs in house.

If an unforeseen condition requires extra work, Lomax discusses the work and cost with you and documents it in a change order before proceeding.

Who performs the installation?

Installations are performed by Lomax employees.

Who handles permits?

Permitting can depend on the address, scope, and local jurisdiction. Confirm any permit responsibility for your specific project during the consultation.

Can I see the product warranty?

Yes. View Premium Window & Doors’ limited lifetime warranty. Lomax does not provide a separate written labor warranty.

Who do I contact after installation?

For an installation problem, call Lomax at (559) 346-0500 so the team can fix it. For a manufacturer issue, submit a service request through the manufacturer’s website; its service department handles those requests.

PAYMENT + PLANNING

Payment and financing.

A 10% deposit is due when you sign the contract, with the balance due upon completion. Lomax accepts cash, check, and credit card; the current credit-card surcharge is 4%. Financing is available through Acorn, and larger projects can be planned in stages.

Questions before you request a quote.

Can I replace windows in stages?

Yes. Larger window projects can be planned in phases so you can address priority rooms or openings first and coordinate later work around the same overall plan.

How long does a window project usually take?

From signed contract to completed installation, a typical window project is about 2–3 weeks. The crew is usually at your home for about a day and a half for an 8–12 window job.

Do you offer dual-pane and triple-pane windows?

Yes. Lomax currently sells Premium Window & Doors Timeless, Elegance, Serene, and Zenith series, including dual-pane and triple-pane options.

Can a patio or French door include a dog door?

Yes. Sliding and French-door projects can include an Ideal Pet Products dog door in small, medium, or XL, with a plastic cover that locks into place inside. The built-in option requires a whole new door.

How should I prepare for installation?

Move items beneath each window and leave about 5 feet of clear working space for the crew.

Can I see sample windows?

Yes. Lomax can bring sample windows to your home so you can compare the frames in person. Lomax does not currently have a showroom.

What areas do you serve?

Lomax is based in Fresno and serves homeowners throughout Fresno, Kings, and Madera Counties.
